We rely on the initiative of our members to participate, volunteer, and help organize activities like agility trials, flyball, and disc dog, that promote the Border Collie's natural abilities. You can learn more about each type of activity by reading the information on this page. |

Agility |
This is a fast-paced dog sport where the handler directs the dog through an obstacle course. The faster and more accurately the dog runs through the obstacle course, the more points will be awarded. This is the perfect activity to showcase the dog's exceptional training and the handler's coordination because the handler directs the dog solely with voice commands, movement, and various body signals. The dog runs off leash with no food or toys as incentives, and the handler cannot touch the dog nor the obstacles.
This year, we are offering beginner agility classes for new members and members with dogs that have not already participated in the sport. Contact us for further details and to reserve your spot. |

Flyball |
Flyball is an especially effective way to burn off a Border Collie's energy! What makes flyball unique is a box that releases a tennis ball when the dog presses a spring-loaded pad. A team of dogs races against one other from the start line, over hurdles, to the box, then back to the handler while carryingthe ball.
We are of fering beginner flyball classes to new members and members who with dogs who have not
already participated in the sport. Contact us for further details and to reserve your s pot.
